Nuuk Handel & Service ApS
Privacy information
Last updated: 31 October 2026
When you contact Nuuk Handel & Service ApS through nhs.gl, we process the information you provide so we can respond. This notice applies to the corporate website and its inquiry forms, not the separate consumer shop or business portal.
Who is responsible?
Nuuk Handel & Service ApS, based in Nuuk, Greenland, is responsible for personal information submitted through nhs.gl. For privacy questions, contact salg@nhs.gl.
Information we collect
The contact form requires your name, email address, inquiry category and message. Phone number and company name are optional. We also record the form language, submission time, inquiry status and any internal follow-up notes needed to handle the request. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the information to answer questions, consider vending machine or business inquiries and, where requested, take steps towards an agreement. For ordinary personal information, the applicable basis under Greenland's Personal Data Act is generally section 6(1)(2) or 6(1)(7), depending on the request. Checking the form's acknowledgement confirms you have read this information; it is not consent to advertising or newsletters.
Recipients and service providers
NHS personnel who need to handle the inquiry may access it. We use Netlify to host the site, Supabase to store inquiries and Resend to send internal email notifications to our shared Simply.com mailbox. We do not sell form information to advertisers or add you to a marketing list through this form.
Data location and international transfers
The Supabase database for this website is hosted in Canada. Other service providers and email systems may process information outside Greenland, including in the United States. Relevant transfers must comply with Greenland's Personal Data Act, including any applicable transfer safeguards and processor agreements.
Technical security
The form uses server-controlled access restrictions and limits repeated submissions. To help prevent spam, the database stores a cryptographically derived fingerprint of the network address rather than the raw IP address. Hosting and security providers may separately process technical logs for operations and protection.
Retention and deletion
Inquiries and related emails are kept while needed to respond, follow up on a potential business relationship or document relevant matters. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted; legal obligations or specific disputes may justify longer retention. Technical rate-limit fingerprints are separate and intended only for short-term spam protection.
Your rights
You can contact us to request access to information about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or to object, where the conditions under Greenland's Personal Data Act apply. Write to salg@nhs.gl. You can also complain to the Greenland Data Protection Authority if you believe your information is being handled unlawfully.
